"I joined The Bandana Project because I am a firm believer that the body cannot be healed until the mind is. As a future nurse, I realize that my ability to heal is not fully utilized until I make the mental health of my patients, and myself, a PRIORITY. I have spent a lot of my time in nursing school studying and working with those struggling with their own mental health, while working through experiences of my own. I believe that everyone's experiences and feelings are unique- but more importantly, they are REAL. I wear my bandana to show that I believe in, support, and will advocate for the awareness and support of the mental health of all of those around me- both as a student and a future medical professional💚"
