UHS Training for Suicide Prevention
  • University Health Service’s Suicide Prevention training for UW-Madison Students prepares students to support their peers’ mental health and intervene to prevent suicide. 
  • Suicide Prevention Training for UW-Madison Students is a 90-minute, interactive Canvas course that aims to:
    • ​Improve students’ ability to recognize warning signs of suicide  
    • Boost students’ capacity to respond to peers in distress  
    • Increase confidence in referring peers to campus resources  
  • Earn 1 Volunteer point by completing the multi-part training program  (5 parts total)!
  • Once students finish the course, please send a screenshot of this page on Canvas and email it to [email protected] to receive your point.
