Volunteer Events Held:
  •  "Young Blood" Drive. On December 1st, NAMI-UW sponsored a blood drive for The American Red Cross Club. Volunteers were able to help save lives and earn a volunteer point by signing up for an hour long shift to help run check in during the event, or by donating blood themselves.
    • Our blood drive collected 20 units of blood and could save up to 60 lives!
  • River Food Pantry. On December 10th, NAMI-UW volunteered their time to help with food and packaging distribution at the River Food Pantry. The River Food Pantry serves over 1,000 diverse households each week and they have distributed over 3.5 million pounds of food!
    • Learn more about volunteering or donating here!
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison. On April 21, 2022 some of our members volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House here in Madison. The Ronald McDonald House is a "home-away-from-home" for families that need to stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost.
