Social Media Challenge - In honor of National Eating Disorder Awareness Week, we are hosting a social media challenge to help spread awareness. To participate post one of the following types of posts on Instagram or Facebook before Wednesday 3/3 (make sure to tag us!): (1) A body positive post (an informational video, inspirational quote, or anything else that promotes body positivity)  (2) A fact or statistic related to eating disorders or (3) Your personal experience with an eating disorder.

Fundraising - This semester, you can earn your fundraising point by donating $5+ to an organization that supports mental health! After donating, you should receive a confirmation (e.g., email) or some kind. Forward or screenshot your donation confirmation and send it to nami.wisco@gmail.com anytime between now and April 20, 2021 and you'll earn a point! Examples of organizations you could donate to include: Mental Health America, NAMI-Wisconsin, The Trevor Project (LGBTQIA+ Youth), Fear 2 Freedom (Empowers sexual assault victims while educating communities to combat sexual assault). 

Research Survey: Body Image & Disordered Eating - Juliana, our Treasurer, and her research team are studying body image and disordered eating among UW-Madison students. Next week, Juliana and her team will be sending our a survey to students with questions on these topics. If you participate, you will be entered to win a gift card! Every voice matters, so please consider filling out this survey when you receive it.
